The 10 minute party is a place for people newer to OCC to hang out, eat some light food, meet some of the staff and get answers to any questions about OCC or church in general. It’s an opportunity to get a quick taste of who we are and what we’re all about. If you haven’t had chance to meet our Pastor, he and our staff would love to meet you. There will be a countdown clock on the wall, and when 10 minutes are up, so is the party. Feel free to hang out longer if you like, but know that you’re free to go when the clock gets to zero. Parents with the children in the nursery or Kidzone are free to pick them up and bring them or you can pick them up after the party.

OCC Preview

Sunday, February 21th from 11:30 - 12:30pm
Location: Orange Terrace Community Center

We’ve discovered that guests who are starting to check out OCC often find themselves with some questions (who we are, what we believe, why we do things like we do, etc.) and they often want to know how they can join us in what we’re doing. So, in order to help people connect at OCC and answer some questions you might have, we offer a brief class experience called the OCC Preview where you can learn about our values and what next steps you can take with OCC. You will not be asked to commit to or be obligated to anything at the end of the class. Light lunch will be served and childcare will be available.

You may be aware that on January 12, Haiti was struck by the most violent earthquake in a century. We can assist the many who have been devastated in this disaster by sending financial support to help with relief efforts. There are a number of reputable Christian Charities that have organized to help in this effort. You might be trying to decide which charity to partner with to assist through giving your financial support. We would recommend supporting Haiti through an organization called Samaritan’s Purse. Below, you can click on a link to their website, where you can give to help provide emergency shelters, clean water, food and medicine.
